istanbul and barcelona: december 2009
So, OSI just gave grants to nine amazing photographers from Central Asia and the Caucasus, Afghanistan and Pakistan, for them to photograph a human rights story in their home country. They’ll have six months to complete their projects under the mentorship of Yuri Kozyrev and Antonin Kratochvil. The grant period starts and ends with week-long trainings in Istanbul. The first one happened in December and it was fantastic! On the way home I stopped in Barcelona to visit my lovely cousin and her kids.
Hopefully when we go back in July I’ll have more time to photograph. Here are a few impressions.
